HOW ALEXANDRA MET JEREMIAH
Alexandra and Jeremiah met in middle school when Jeremiah first moved to Fort Collins. He was the new kid, and according to Alexandra, he was known to be the class clown with a little bit of a rebellious streak. Jeremiah remembers the first time he saw her in the hallway of their school, wearing bedazzled jeans and a Champ Bailey Broncos jersey. They were friends through junior high and high school, but lost touch after graduation. Fast forward to eleven years later when they rekindled their relationship, and from there they were inseparable. In Jeremiah’s words, “We reconnected at the perfect time in our lives when we needed each other most and it has carried us through some of my most favorite memories. From walks on the beach and races into the ocean to vacationing with friends and family, this has been the greatest adventure and I can’t wait to continue it as best friends, parents, and soul mates.”

HE ASKED, SHE SAID YES!
Alexandra and Jeremiah took a trip to Pensacola when he surprised her with a sunset cruise. They drove around in a pontoon boat and ended up on a private island. While on the island, they enjoyed a candle-lit dinner and watched the sunset. After dinner, they completed a scavenger hunt. They had to complete a crossword puzzle which led them to find a message in a bottle. Alexandra found the bottle and inside was a love letter from Jeremiah. When she finished reading the letter, she turned around with tears in her eyes to find Jeremiah down on one knee. She said yes, of course, and they finished the evening with dessert on the beach.

THE BIG DAY
Alexandra and Jeremiah decided to return to Pensacola for their wedding day. They got married on a balcony overlooking the ocean and had their kids next to them as their family became official. They were married by her brother-in-law on that 103 degree day in Florida, and Jeremiah’s sisters performed a hand ceremony for them. After the ceremony the party began and they danced the night away. One of Alexandra’s favorite parts of the day was the letters they had written to each other to open the morning of the wedding.

THE JOURNEY TO THE PERFECT DRESS
Alexandra had been to a couple appointments that had been unsuccessful, but then she walked into Dani West. The minute she tried on her dress, she just knew. It was so easy for her to envision walking down the aisle and becoming Jeremiah’s wife in that dress. It truly was a magical experience.

Alexandra’s advice to other brides is “don’t sweat the small stuff. There will always be hiccups and nothing is perfect. At the end of the day you will be married, and that’s all that matters!”
Congratulations Alexandra and Jeremiah! We are wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness!
