The owner of Dani West Bridal, Patty is the heart and soul behind everything that we do here. Patty has always enjoyed working with special niche groups. Her career began in Special Education, which she worked in for more than ten years before delving into the jewelry business. After working in jewelry for some time, Patty discovered bridal which ultimately has been the culmination of everything that she enjoys. Patty started Dani West five and a half years ago and has never looked back. When she made the decision to go into bridal, she knew it was her passion and immediately went into it full-force. Her philosophy is that work should always be fun and meaningful. Patty named Dani West after her husband and love of her life, Daniel Westenbroek. She and Dan have three beautiful daughters: Serena, Jordan, and Jaylyn.
Patty also shares her home with her two dogs Buddy and Holly. Buddy is a 12-year-old golden retriever and Holly is a 6-year-old morkie (yorkie-maltese mix). They are an extension of the family, and on occasion you might even be lucky enough to see Holly around the store! Patty’s favorite food is seafood, and her go-to beverage of choice is either white wine or Blue Moon. She also enjoys coffee, especially with coconut creamer. If Patty could travel anywhere in the world, she would go back to her family’s roots and visit the Netherlands. Patty’s personal bridal style is fitted, which is the silhouette she chose for her own wedding!
Patty would describe herself as an open book, sensitive, deeply caring, creative, fun, and definitely funny! She can always be heard through the store laughing and having a good time. Her role models include her paternal grandmother Erma and her three daughters, who she is constantly learning from. Patty would say her greatest accomplishments are Dani West and being a wife and a mother. Her goal in life is to live, laugh and love. While she acknowledges that she might not have everything, she believes that she has everything that she needs and has lived a full life without regrets.
